Als die polnische Komponistin Grazyna Bacewicz 1969 in Warschau starb, hinterließ sie ein ungemein umfangreiches Oeuvre, das bis auf den heutigen Tag jedoch nur spärlich diskografisch erfasst ist. Das 2017 mit einem ›Gramophone‹ ausgezeichnete Silesian Quartet möchte diese Lücke sukzessiv schließen und legt nun die zweite Folge seiner Bacewicz-Reihe mit zwei Quartetten und zwei Klavierquintetten vor.
