Franco Fagioli malt ein Fresko von Händels Meisterwerk mit einer lateinischen Exaltation, indem er dieses große englische Barockoratorium in den Farben des Mittelmeers malt, zusammen mit dem berühmten Chor von Barcelona und seinem caravaggesken Helldunkel, das dem Werk einen Moiré-Schimmer verleiht.
