Als Stevie Nicks 1981 ihr Solo-Debüt veröffentlichte, landete sie damit in den USA auf Anhieb einen vierfach Platin-dekorierten #1-Erfolg - ein Umstand, der mit ihrem Fleetwood-Mac-Background zwar nicht komplett überraschend kam, doch keinesfalls selbstverständlich. Es war der Start in eine immens erfolgreiche Solokarriere für die allseits geliebte Singer-Songwriterin, die bis heute acht hochgelobte Soloalben hervorbringen sollte, die sich allein in den USA nahezu 10 Millionen Mal verkauften und weltweit ganze Generationen geprägt haben.
