Das Album erscheint mit 45 Minuten Bonusmaterial, das nicht Teil der digitalen Veröffentlichung ist und enthält als Doppel-CD fast zwei Stunden Musik aus dem Spiel. Das Label Invada war bei einigen Projekten von Cliff Martinez involviert – darunter die beliebten Soundtracks zum Thriller »Drive« und zum Science Fiction Abenteuer »Solaris«.
»Far Cry 4« ist der erste Vorstoß von Martinez in die Welt der Musik zu Videospielen.
