Omar Rodriguez-Lopez, the prolific leader and main songwriter for the revolutionary band the Mars Volta and founder of At The Drive In and De Facto Records records his new electronic fuelled solo album for N20. The gritty rock dubstep influences of the album feature John Frusciante (guitarist of the Red Hot Chili Peppers performing rare vocals), Money Mark (producer and keyboardist Beastie Boys), as well as Cedric Bixler-Zavala, Thomas Pridgen and Juan Alterete from The Mars Volta. The album is 20% electronic and 80% Mars Volta in style and is the first of a two-part set. Part Two will be remixed by Lopez' collaborators and the N20 roster of artists. This is Omar's fifth solo album and the fourth in the "Amsterdam" series. A truly powerhouse talent pool are featured on this blazingeleven track album.
