Two years passed by, creating a concept of nihilistic and misanthropic philosophy, preached through black funeral doom metal. The elegies of Nortt tell about death and darkness viewed from the dying and from the dead. They reveal an alluring tale of death. The grave is praised as the godforsaken heaven where eternal darkness prevails. The subtle message: Follow the pale horse! At a funereal pace and with a sombre tone, Nortt summons the forces of the night. Under the influence of those forces, »Nattetale« (eng: »Night's Speech«) was recorded in the darkest hours of October 1997.
