Zum ersten Mal können die Fans die zeitlose Magie der »Goldenen Jahre« von Fairport Convention an einem Ort erleben - mit diesem sorgfältig zusammengestellten und umfassenden »It All Came Round Again: Onstage & On Air 1982-90« Deluxe-Boxset.

Mit dem Zugang zu stundenlangen Live-Auftritten sowohl auf der Bühne in Cropredy als auch bei der BBC ist dieses maßgeschneiderte Madfish-Angebot, das vom Bert Jansch / John McLaughlin-Biographen Colin Harper kuratiert wurde, die endgültige Hommage an das bleibende Vermächtnis der legendären britischen Folk-Rock-Band.

Die Legende Fairport Convention wurde zwischen 1967 und 1979 geschmiedet - 12 Jahre, 16 Alben, zig Besetzungen und vier erschöpfte Menschen am Ende dieser Zeit. Im August 1980 löste sich die letzte Formation - Simon Nicol, Dave Swarbrick, Dave Pegg und Bruce Rowland - für einen Tag auf dem Feld eines Bauern in Cropredy, Oxfordshire, wieder zusammen und begründete damit das kultige Festival »Fairport's Cropredy Convention«.

Fünf relativ ruhige Jahre vergingen, bevor sich 1985 auf vielfachen Wunsch eine neue Fairport Convention um Peggy und Simon versammelte, um Aufnahmen zu machen und zu touren. Alles schaltete einen Gang höher. Bis 1990 folgten vier neue Alben und BBC Radio begrüßte die wiedergeborenen Folk-Rocker mit bemerkenswerter Regelmäßigkeit.
