Die Besetzung des Albums bestand aus Doug Martsch, dem Bassisten Brett Nelson und dem Schlagzeuger Andy Capps, produziert wurde es von Phil Ek. Das Album enthält die Dauer-Singles »In the Morning«, »Car« und »Distopian Dream Girl«. There's Nothing Wrong with Love wurde bei seiner Veröffentlichung von den Kritikern hervorragend aufgenommen. Es wurde von Pitchfork, PASTE und SPIN als »Bestes Album der 90er Jahre« ausgezeichnet und hat sich bis heute fast 140.000 Mal verkauft.
