Tompall Glaser, später einer der Original-Outlaws, kam mit seinen Brüdern nach Nashville, um sich Marty Robbins als Backgroundsänger anzuschließen. Irgendwann machten sich die Glaser Brothers selbständig; aber Tompall verließ schon bald die Brüder und arbeitete solo. Er identifizierte sich mit den künstlerischen Freiheiten, nach denen Willie Nelson und Waylon Jennings strebten und muss heute als der vergessene Outlaw betrachtet werden. Seine klassischen ABC-Aufnahmen – hier komplette enthalten! – gehören in die Sammlung eines jeden, der den Outlaw-Sound der Siebzigerjahre mag. Seine neuen Fassungen von Country- und Rock-Oldies sind besonders hörenswert.

His reinterpretations of country and rock oldies are especially worth listening for.
