Planet Mu / Everyone knows Aaron (a. k.a. Venetian Snares) as a pioneering breakcore producer, but 1961 is a collection of joy-filled jumpy acid manoeuvres, funky grooves and kitsch beats. The opening track "My Home Recordings" sets the tone
with Aaron’s trade mark attention to detail, ever shifting arrangements & strong acid bass line, a recurring theme throughout the recording.
