Eric Clapton is a legend. In the 60’s his nickname was God. In any poll of the all-time greatest guitarists he’s always at or near the top. Whether as a member of The Yardbirds, Cream, John Mayall’s Bluesbreakers, Blind Faith or as a solo artist he has been a bestselling recording artist for nearly 40 years. This concert was filmed at the Birmingham NEC on July 15 1986, shortly after the completion, but before the release of, the August album. The concert combines tracks from the August album with classics such as Crossroads, White Room, a full length version of Layla and Sunshine Of Your Love. Phil Collins takes lead vocals on a version of his huge hit In The Air Tonight which features some stunning guitar work from Clapton. The original tapes have been remixed in Dolby Digital 5.1 and DTS Surround Sound.
