Spieldauer ca. 78 Minuten. -- 1966 war Ed Bruce kaum mehr als ein desillusionierter Sun-Rockabilly, der sich nahezu erfolglos einige Jahre in Nashville rumgetrieben hatte. Dann landete er bei RCA - und seine unglaubliche Glückssträhne begann mit ‚Walker's Woods‘ sowie seiner viel beachteten Countryrock-Coverversion von ‚Last Train To Clarksville‘, im Original von den Monkees. Mit den neunundzwanzig Songs dieser Zusammenstellung erfassen wir alle für RCA produzierten Aufnahmen, die zwischen 1966 und 1968 entstanden, einschließlich ‚Blue Bayou‘, ‚Painted Girls And Wine‘ sowie einen Hit, den er für Charlie Louvin schrieb, ‚Lonesome Is Me‘ und ‚The Price I Pay To Stay‘, später ein Hit für Jeannie C.
