Nach zwei erfolgreichen Alben auf Signum Records präsentiert das amerikanische Vokalensemble Cantus mit Into The Light sein erstes Weihnachtsalbum. Das Album spiegelt Cantus' Engagement für die Vielfalt des Repertoires wider.
Die Auswahl umfasst fünf Sprachen und umfasst Werke einer breiten Palette von Komponisten und Arrangeuren: von John Jacob Niles und Kenneth Jennings bis zu Joni Mitchell und B. E. Boykin.
Das Album enthält außerdem sechs speziell für Cantus geschaffene Stücke, darunter zwei neue Arrangements von Reginald Bowens und Christopher H. Harris.
