In the stories, these thoughts begin in our minds and make their way to kids' hearts by way of a shove of negative energy from Mendos. A Mendo is the angel's enemy. He is invisible and creeps through the eyes and ears of kids to infect and corrupt any good thoughts. Thoughts of love, joy, peace, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control are all ripe for his plans of destruction. The angel twwins' adventures consist of them challenging everyday kids about what thoughts they choose to pack in their minds that filter down into their hearts and cause them to make poor choices. Corrupting the thoughts of children is the mission of the Mendo, but the angels eagerly stomp on its head with their supernatural boots to rid the Mendo of its purpose.
