For years, Cai has kept her alien aspects secret in hopes of blending in with human society. Her assertive human girlfriend, Analisa, supports Cai no matter what.

When Analisa's father is diagnosed with cancer, Analisa applies to game shows, hoping to win enough prize money for her father's treatment. Shows like Truth or Dare thrive on revealing secrets. Still, Cai applies to the shows to improve Analisa's chances of being selected.

Analisa, her brother, and Cai are cast for a week on Truth or Dare. Just as they start bonding with the other nine players, they find players poisoned and stabbed to death. The referees won't let anyone leave the game arena until the end of the week. Cai and her allies must shift their priorities from keeping their secrets to keeping each other alive.
