Alfredo is a first generation Mexican American. Born in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas (a mere 5 minute drive from the Mexico / US border) and raised in Chicago. His vivacious and loveable personality comes across in his content, where he explores the ways in which his American upbringing and his Mexican heritage blend in the kitchen. Naturally, Alfredo's debut book will also feature Mexican-inspired versions of American classics and modern twists. Think Birria Ramen, Chicken Caesar Quesadillas, and Picadillo Chili Cheese Dogs.
