Biografie (Batya Gur)
Batya Gur, geboren 1947 in Tel Aviv, arbeitete zunächst als Lehrerin und Journalistin, bevor sie mit ihren Ochajon-Romanen internationalen Ruhm erlangte. Ihr erstes Buch, "Denn am Sabbat sollst du ruhen", wurde mit dem deutschen Krimipreis ausgezeichnet. Ihre Folgeromane ließen sie zum weltberühmten Markenzeichen literarisch-intelligenter Krimiunterhaltung werden. Batya Gur verstarb 2005.
