20 Jahre lang war das American Folk Blues Festival eine legendäre Tour, die zum Ziel hatte, den authentischen Blues in Europa bekannt zu machen. Im Oktober 1962 erreichte die Tour das Olympia in Paris, wo das französische Publikum zum ersten Mal ein Kozert mit John Lee Hooker, Willie Dixon, T-Bone Walker, Sonny Terry und Brownie McGhee hören konnte. Das Konzert war ausverkauft. Das Konzert kündigte die Welle des Folk & Blues Revival an, die Europa und vor allem Großbritannien Mitte der 60er Jahre erreichte. Fremeaux veröffentlicht zusammen mit Body & Soul dieses 3-CD Set mit bislang unveröffentlichtem Material, das auch die Vorstellungen, Kommentare und die enthusiastischen Reaktionen des Publikums enthält.
