Vielmehr handelt es sich bei Sons Of Apollo um den Inbegriff einer Supergroup. »Psychotic Symphony« heißt ihr mit Spannung erwartetes Debüt.Keine Geringeren als Sänger Jeff Scott Soto (Trans Siberian Orchestra, Talisman, Journey u. a.), Gitarrist Ron »Bumblefoot« Thal (Art Of Anarchy, Guns N' Roses), Bassist Billy Sheehan (The Winery Dogs, Mr. Big, David Lee Roth), Keyboarder Derek Sherinian (Black Country Communion, Dream Theater, Alice Cooper, Kiss u. a.) und Schlagzeuger Mike Portnoy (The Winery Dogs, Transatlantic, Flying Colors, Neal Morse Band, Dream Theater, u. a.) fanden sich 2017 für das Projekt Sons Of Apollo zusammen.
Neun Songs haben sie für ihren Erstling »Psychotic Symphony« aufgenommen. Die Produktion übernahmen Portnoy und Sherinian alias »The Del Fuvio Brothers«.
