Protest, Groll, Verzweiflung, am Ende ist es Blues. Diese remasterte 4CD Box transportiert diese Botschaft mit Witz und Humor. Nicht immer ist klar, wer oder was kritisiert wird, aber das ist manchmal auch gut so. Beide, die Mississippi Sheiks und die Memphis Jug Band kritisieren die Korruptheit der Polizei, aber immer hintergründig und nie offensiv. Die Songs auf diesen CDs sind aber mittlerweile für’s Entertainment gedacht obwohl, teilweise heute noch, viele der besungenen Missstände so aktuell sind wie früher.
