Der Blues entstand gegen Ende des 19. Jahrhunderts in afroamerikanischen Gemeinden, vor allem im »tiefen Süden« der USA. Diese Sammlung umfasst 16 komplette Blues-LPs, allesamt Klassiker, die einen einfachen Einstieg in das Genre ermöglichen.
