"Eagles Live" war 1980 das erste Live-Album der Eagles. Es besteht aus Auftritten von der "Hotel California" - Tour (1976) und der "The Long Run" - Tour (1980).

1980 standen die Eagles bereits kurz vor Auflösung der Band, allerdings waren sie ihrer Plattenfirma vertraglich noch ein Album schuldig. Obwohl ihnen die Firma 2 Millionen Dollar für zwei neue Songs anbot, lehnten die Eagles ab. Der einzige unveröffentlichte Song ist eine Version von "Seven Bridges Road", der Song war ein Paradestück für den Close-Harmony-Gesang der Band, da die Strophen des Songs a cappella von allen fünf Mitgliedern gesungen werden.
