Die meisten kennen Sie: Dita Von Teese, eine der Diven in der Burlesque Szene. Aber Burlesque, diese hocherotische Form des Tanzes, bei dem sich Frauen zwar teilweise aber nicht ganz Ihrere Kleidung entledigen wurde immer begleitet von Musik. Jazz, Swing, bis hin zu Rockabilly. In den Anfängen im 19, Jahrhundert hauptsächlich in Amerika und England bekannt erlebte die Burlesque eine erste Wiederbelebung. Die 2. Wiederbelebung in den 50er Jahren kannte Stars wie Lili St. Cyr oder auch Betty Page.
