Led by the sisters Ann & Nancy Wilson, Heart have been a hugely successful rock band since the mid-seventies with multi-million selling albums and chart success around the world, most recently with their album “Jupiter’s Darling” released in 2004.
In the nineties the Wilson sisters started their side project The Lovemongers to explore a more acoustic style. Released for the first time in Europe, “A Lovemonger’s Christmas” features a hybrid of the two bands with Ann and Nancy being joined by Sue Ennis (keyboards) and Frank Cox (guitars) from the Lovemongers and by Heart’s Craig Bartock (guitars) and Ben Smith (drums) performing a collection of mostly original Christmas songs alongside a couple of festive classics “Ave Maria” and “Oh Holy Night”.
