3.242 Mal am Broadway gezeigt und gehört auch heute
noch zu den am häufigsten inszenierten Musicals. An der
Seite von Zero Mostel als Tevye und Maria Kamilova als
Golde waren Stars wie Julia Migenes, Bea Arthur, Austin
Pendleton und Bert Convy zu sehen. Klassiker wie "If I Were
a Rich Man" (Wenn ich einmal reich wär), "Tradition",
"Matchmaker" (Jente, o Jente) und "Sunrise, Sunset" (Jahre
kommen, Jahre gehen) machen dieses Musical zu einem
unvergesslichen Hörerlebnis.
