Eccentric Soul: The Prix Label > Returning to Columbus Ohio, where the Capsoul label also resided. Prix was their crosstown rival. Though the label released 12 singles, there were tapes aplenty in the archive. This compilation selects the best of the catalogue alongside four previously unreleased masters and demos. The 19 track CD features Marion Black, Eddie Ray, The Royal Esquires, OFS Unlimited, The Soul? Ensemble, Mitch Mitchell, Chip Willis, Penny & The Quarters and Joe King. The deluxe double? album comes with two bonus cuts not on the CD and is limited to 2000 copies.
