1967 war das Jahr der Schlüsselwerke: The Beach Boys begeisterten mit "Pet Sounds", The Moody Blues lieferten amtliches mit ihrer LP "Day Of Future Passed" und die Beatles legten mit ihrem Meisterwerk "Sgt. Pepper" ein weiteres Nummer 1-Album vor. Doch bereits ein Jahr vorher hatte Bob Dylan „Blonde On Blonde“ veröffentlicht: das inspirierte Doppelalbum glänzte mit ebenso schlichten wie genialen Folkpop-Perlen. Unterstützt von berühmten Kollegen wie Robbie Robertson, Joe South und Al Kooper entwickelte Dylan aus seinen Kompositionen so unvergängliche Evergreens wie „Rainy Day Women #12 & #35“, „I Want You“, „Just Like A Woman“ und „Most Likely You Go Your Way“.
