R. Thomas in Jazzthetik 5/03: "Beans und Priest bringen HipHop-Vocals und seltsame, programmierte Beats auf die Party, auf der sich William Parker (gesamplet?) und Shipp selbst die Bälle zuspielen. Das ist natürlich beileibe nicht die erste Jazz/HipHop-Fusion, aber so knackig, charmant und frech - inklusive einiger abge- drehter Synthie-Sounds - hat man sie selten gehört.
