Klappentext
Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. The Tolai Hare (Lepus tolai) is a species of hare found in Central Asia, Mongolia, and Northern and Central China. It inhabits semi-desert, steppes, rocky habitats, and forest meadows. It is relatively common, even in areas with heavy human disturbance, due to its fast reproductive rate. Hares and jackrabbits are leporids belonging to the genus Lepus. Hares less than one year old are called leverets. Four species commonly known as types of hare are classified outside of Lepus: the Hispid Hare (Caprolagus hispidus), and three species known as red rock hares (Pronolagus spp.).
