Klappentext
A deep dive into Celtic lore through a mythic retelling set in Iron Age Ireland. A story about Fedelm-the poet and prophetess in the ancient Irish epic, The Táin.
She can't be silenced. She can't unsee the truth.
Within Fedelm arises a powerful poetic and prophetic voice, a voice her tribe tries to have silenced forever with a tongue-binding curse.
To liberate her voice from the curse, Fedelm pledges to the queen of the Tuatha Dé Danann to become a poet-seer and tell the untold tales about the peoples who ruled Ireland long ago. But Fedelm finds the path to becoming a poet-seer novice difficult and dangerous. And if she fails to uphold the pledge, the otherworldly queen will bind her tongue forevermore.
Prelude to a Poet-Seer is the first book in the Book of Fedelmseries.
For fans of Juliet Marillier and Shauna Lawless.
