Biografie
Susannah Cahalan begann ihre Karriere als Reporterin bei der New York Post, für die sie, neben anderen großen Zeitungen wie z. B. der New York Times, noch immer arbeitet. Für ihre journalistische Arbeit wurde sie mehrfach ausgezeichnet, u. a. für den Artikel My Mysterious Lost Month of Madness , auf dem dieses Buch basiert. Sie lebt in Jersey City, New Jersey.
