Susan J Hilger: You Belong in This Room, Kartoniert / Broschiert

Klappentext

You've told yourself the same story about who you are for years. But what if that story was never the whole truth? In You Belong In This Room, S. J. pulls back the curtain on the moments, personal and professional, that shaped her, and shows you that your own struggles aren't something to hide.

She takes you through many of her own challenges that led to her growth starting with her childhood trauma, to her relationship lessons and her personal self exploration. S. J. learned that survival is bigger than achievement, and helps you see you don't need to carry shame for not being on the same timeline as everyone else.

She opens herself up to the reader to share what is possible. She understands and now knows what can be achieved by working on herself and in the work she does with other humans.

Told in short, honest chapters with space to reflect at the end of each one, this is a book you can pick up for one short sitting or spend an hour or two reading and reflecting. Either way, you will walk away feeling less alone and more familiar with where you are headed.
