Sheena Paul: A Guac In The Park, Gebunden

Klappentext

Avo is a friendly little avocado with big plans, and even bigger smile, and one GIANT dream: a big life in New York City. But when he finally lands his fancy office job, it's not quite what he had expected - everyone in his office looks the same, acts the same...eventually a pit forms in Avo's belly.

Then one day a lunchtime walk through Central Park changes everything. There, Avo meets Onion, Cilantro, Tomato, Lime and a lively Salt n' Peppa duo - none of them are anything alike! Together they discover their differences, mixed just right, make something no one of them alone could make: guacamole!

A Guac In The Park is a warm, funny read-aloud for ages 3-6 about being yourself, celebrating what makes everyone different, and learning that a big life is less about where you work and more about who you're with. Hand-illustrated with watercolor and ink, this memorable New York tale ends with two real recipes to make together: classic guacamole and Popp's Guac n' Eggs.

Perfect for preschoolers, kindergarten classrooms, and anyone who's ever felt too big in a small place or too small in a big place.
