Russell W Porter: Consumed, Kartoniert / Broschiert

Klappentext

What if the dream you've been pursuing is also the thing God is using to shape you?

For more than three decades, Russell W. Porter pursued a dream that refused to let go: building something meaningful through music education. What began as a vision eventually became Rockwall School of Music, but the journey was anything but predictable. Along the way came uncertainty, failure, sacrifice, unexpected opportunities, difficult decisions, and moments when walking away seemed easier than continuing.

Consumed: The Dream Had Another Name is not simply the story of building a successful music school. It is the story of discovering what happens when a dream becomes deeply woven into a person's life, and of learning to recognize God's hand in the journey.

Through personal stories of faith, perseverance, entrepreneurship, relationships, disappointment, and transformation, Porter explores a question many of us eventually face:

Why are some dreams so difficult to let go of?

Perhaps the answer isn't simply that we are pursuing the dream.

Perhaps the dream is pursuing us.

Consumed is an invitation to anyone who has ever carried an unfinished dream, wondered about God's purpose, questioned the timing of the journey, or sensed that there might be something more waiting to be discovered.

Because sometimes the greatest thing a dream accomplishes isn't what we build. It's who we become while pursuing it.
