Rick Trac: The Court of Stolen Names, Gebunden

Klappentext

A dead woman. Three names. Three lives.

When Civic Claims investigator Neris Venn is called to a river morgue, three people identify the same body as three different women. Each life is real. Each has its own memories, habits and relationships. And all three lead back to Verran, a vanished research programme built around identity itself.

The case should have nothing to do with Neris. Then an old Verran record names her.

Seven years ago, Neris lost three days of her life. Serren, a fae Crown Severant whose magic can cut a person free from the ties that define them, lost the same three days. He brought her home afterward. Neither remembers why.

Following the murder into Rethyr means entering a court where memory can be medicine, identity can become property, and survival has been built on choices someone else was forced to make.

To solve the murder, Neris must uncover who the dead woman was, what happened in those missing days, and whether a life is still yours when the memories that made it can be stolen.
