Raelle Tucker: Obscura, Kartoniert / Broschiert

Klappentext

On a Mediterranean island famous for its hedonist partying---and home to a secretive mountain community---Artemis saves a trespassing tourist instead of killing him, threatening the only refuge her family has ever known.

You've heard about the music. The clubs. The drugs. The beaches. The nakedness. Maybe you've been to Obscura -- or The Isle -- as it's commonly called -- for a blurry, sun-soaked week. You stayed in a white hotel with a view of the mouthwash-blue sea.

You tore into fresh seafood with your hands. You watched topless tattooed beauties bouncily play beach pong on the shore....

Out the corner of your eye, you glimpsed something you couldn't explain. You brushed up against something impossible. You heard us whisper.

You felt it.
Something other.

You don't have the words for it. Because you've been taught to tell yourselves and each other: You're crazy, wasted, confused. Nothing to see here.

So even if you looked right at us, you never really saw us.
