R A Hamilton: The Talon, Kartoniert / Broschiert

Klappentext

An epic, original and unputdownable teen fantasy, with shades of Rick Riordan, Christopher Paolini and Game of Thrones.

The Talon is no ordinary mountain. If you're lucky enough to survive it, you will not do so unscathed.

Abandoned at birth on the unforgiving streets of Tyrus, Felix holds little loyalty to his Empire. Now posted to the frozen edges of the map to battle mountain tribes, his only allegiance is to Marius, the commander who took him in and raised him.

But when Felix spots a mysterious, gigantic figure through the snow, destiny takes a strange turn. So begins a daring hunt to capture the creature, in the hope of an Emperor's reward.

The chase lures Felix and his company up the Talon, a brutal mountain shrouded in myth, where wild dangers lurk between ancient rock and towering pine. And on their trail is Alfia: a raven-haired girl with the power of prophecy, whose tribe has been obliterated by Felix's men - and whose mind holds a vision of Felix that will change everything.

Above the clouds, the mountain reveals secrets, monsters and dangers Felix never thought possible, and the answer to his oldest, deepest question: who he really is.
