Barry Michels studierte Jura in Harvard und an der University of California, Berkeley, bevor er sich für die Psychotherapie entschied. Nach einem Studium an der University of Southern California ist er seit 1980 in eigener psychotherapeutischer Praxis tätig.Biografie (Phil Stutz)
Phil Stutz studierte am City College in New York Medizin und promovierte an der New York University. Er arbeitete als Gefängnispsychiater auf Rikers Island, bevor er seine eigene psychotherapeutische Praxis in New York eröffnete. Seit 1982 lebt und arbeitet er in Los Angeles.
