Paul Cozza: The Church in Philadelphia, Vol. 2, Kartoniert / Broschiert

Klappentext

This book is a sequel to the one entitled The Church in Philadelphia. Whereas that last volume explored the depths of the verses in Revelation 3 concerning the church in Philadelphia, this one explores many of the myriad aspects of this church. Philadelphia means different things to different persons and different groups, and so this volume divides these aspects according to the church's relationship to God, Christ, the believers, and the New Jerusalem. The church in Philadelphia has an intimate and intrinsic connection to each of these. For example, to God, the church in Philadelphia displays His economy and is a microcosm. To Christ, this church is a companion and a pearl of great price. To the believers, she is a prototype and the standard. Finally, to the New Jerusalem, the church in Philadelphia is a miniature and the city's heart. These are but a few of the varied aspects of this church - 40 to be exact - discussed in this book. The believer will find the church in Philadelphia to be fascinating beyond measure, for none of us could ever have imagined how much God has invested in her!
