But just as she discerned a call to marriage and transitioned to serving in Adult Faith Formation, she received a devastating diagnosis--stage four colon cancer at the age of thirty, with only two months to live.
Yet, Michelle lived for another year, embracing her suffering with joy, love, and total surrender to God's will. Her radiant witness transformed not only her family and friends but also the doctors and nurses who cared for her. Even in suffering, she evangelized with her life--a life now touching countless others beyond her passing.
