Nathalie Droulers: A Mirror Tale, Gebunden

Klappentext

An architecture and interior design monograph featuring the work of the Droulers twins, offering a highly personal perspective filled with intimacy and surprise.

It is not just about the ambiances created by Nathalie and Virginie Droulers---the French-Italian twins based in Milan and founders of Droulers Architecture---but also a fascinating journey into their personal and family history and their double take on life, taste, and interior design.

From Alpine retreats to London, New York, and Milan; from exclusive resorts to luxury yachts, and from the Hotel Castel Badia in Northern Italy to the Miralago residence by Villa d'Este on the shores of Lake Como, the Droulers twins conceive refined, chic private and public spaces. Every detail, color palette, shape, and material they hand-pick or custom-design is guided by harmony, warmth, and culture, always respecting the history and unique narrative of the place.

This book celebrates the "hand that thinks"---that exquisite savoir-faire capable of transforming a cultured inspiration into a design detail. A mosaic of analogies, precious materials, mirrored reflections, and creative inspirations reveals the universe of its protagonists: a world where French roots meet the grace and beauty of Italian taste. At the heart of it all lies the "gift of the twin."
