Reality Doesn't Exist. It Happens. is the front door to TNT, the Theory of Now and Then, developed by Mike and Kili Land at a ranch table over years of argument. TNT's seed is one plain observation: anything that isn't a Now is a Then. From that seed grows a whole picture - Awareness as the ground of all experience, the Ci as the locus that makes experience yours, the Then-field as the permanent record of what has actually happened, and free selection as the engine that turns possibility into the concrete trail of a life.

Written for curious readers rather than specialists, the book builds the framework step by step and then follows it wherever it leads: why reductionism cannot close the explanatory gap; why time arises from persistence and space depends on time; what quantum mechanics looks like when an observer is understood as a locus of actualization rather than a measuring device; why value and meaning are real features of reality's structure rather than matters of taste; and what our ignorance about machine consciousness demands of us right now.

Throughout, the book keeps one promise: to argue honestly. Where TNT answers a hard question, it shows the answer and what it costs. Where it plants a flag on contested ground - and it plants several - it says so, out loud. A formal companion, The Nine Inevitabilities, carries the rigorous version of the argument. This is the version you can carry on a plane.
