This volume has been designed to juxtapose and contrast images, texts, drawings, color palettes, fabrics, and fashion patterns. A cultural and fashion icon since its founding in the early 1950s, the brand celebrates elegance and artistic expression and is known for its collaborations with great photographers, illustrators, historians, connoisseurs, artists, writers, journalists, and fashion editors of the day, including Balthus, Antonio Lopez, Diana Vreeland, Anna Piaggi, Enzo Biagi, Tonino Guerra, Brunetta, Maria Pezzi, and many others.

With previously unpublished material from the family's personal collection as well as the company archives, this new, compact re-issue is a look into the creative and artistic world of one of fashion's most iconic brands.
