Mariah Blanchard: Eternity Diffused, Kartoniert / Broschiert

Klappentext

You wake up, thirty years older. You soon realize that speaking about the past is taboo. In addition, work itself has shifted dramatically. Now there are few jobs, and most appear to be in the recycling industry...

Even so, you have everything that you need. You are given a highly structured routine to keep you healthy and happy. Therapy Bot says that it's good to talk about your feelings, but doesn't every day seem to be a bit much? Those around you don't think so...

They seem perfectly happy. But are you?

Eternity Diffused is a dystopian literary fiction with hints of magical realism. It asks not what the worst possible future could be, but how each individual will fit into a future that requires almost perfect conformity.

It is a character-driven story to be read as you slowly finish a pot of tea, diving into the minds of the future.
