Kevin Sedelmeier: Paul Weller: Song by Song, Gebunden

Klappentext

Paul Weller's varied, enduring career comes alive through research, interviews, and track-focused stories.

Few musical artists have had careers as successful, varied, and enduring as Paul Weller. From The Jam to The Style Council to his storied solo career, the man once called "a spokesman for a generation" and later "The Modfather" has done things on his own terms, and by doing so won the respect of critics and the adulation of fans. Revered in his United Kingdom home yet not as well known in America, knowledgeable music fans worldwide understand his impact and influence.

With nearly thirty studio albums, collections, and side projects to delve into, this book is a one-stop resource for all things Weller. However, it isn't simply a compilation of song facts fans can find on the internet. Instead, it combines research with artist interviews done especially for this book, as well as author stories and takes on the tracks. In addition to being Weller reference material, it is a fan and former music writer's reflection on the impact Weller's music has made on his own life.
