Jude Kelly: Portrait of the Artist as a Woman, Gebunden

Klappentext

As one of the world's most accomplished theatre directors, Jude Kelly has spent her career making the arts accessible to all - from establishing the West Yorkshire Playhouse in the North of England to transforming London's Southbank Centre into a destination visited by millions and founding the global Women of the World Festival.

Throughout her career, she has had to fight a ceaseless battle as a female director in a male-dominated industry.

This impassioned memoir shows how Jude forged a path for herself and others - through triumphs, grief and personal crises - by putting women's stories centre stage and making the arts a place for everyone.

This is the story of one woman changing the world, one play at a time.
