Alastor Wright is a passenger aboard the "Britannica", a grand ship crossing the Atlantic ocean. He gets to enjoy lavish meals and exceptional entertainment upon the gleaming colossus. But to Alastor's confusion, he cannot remember paying for any of it.

Still, all seems well, until, one fateful morning, when he overhears a brief conversation between two crew members. Alastor is stunned by the relvelation.
