Jj. Platz: Edda, Kartoniert / Broschiert

Klappentext

Before gods or giants walked the worlds, fire and ice met above a yawning gulf. From their meeting, life began.

In EDDA, JJ Platz draws the many tales of Norse mythology into one unfolding story. Follow Odin in his search for wisdom, Thor in his battles with giants, and Loki as his cunning leads him from clever tricks towards betrayal. Beneath their adventures, the roots of the World Tree reach into hidden realms, where old enemies prepare their revenge.

From creation to Ragnarök and the hope of a new beginning, this freely adapted retelling gives young readers a clear thread through the many tales of gods, giants and human beings.

This British English edition is intended for readers aged ten and above. It can be read independently, shared aloud or used in the classroom, including Class 4 work with Norse mythology in Waldorf schools.
