Jade Greenhalgh: Get-Ahead Prep, Gebunden

Klappentext

A new prep-ahead method to get you cooking from scratch throughout the week: batch cook one simple base recipe and have nine delicious dinners to choose from.

Did you know that if you set aside just two hours on a Sunday, you can set yourself up for a week of delicious, healthy and convenient meals?

Life is busy. Weekdays are short, family life is full and cooking from scratch can often feel impossible. Get Ahead Prep cooking gives you back control of dinner, with a freezer full of clever, homemade building blocks ready whenever you need them and a 4-week meal plan to take the friction out of midweek cooking.

Each chapter is built around a recipe for a simple, freezer-friendly prep-ahead base, followed by nine recipes using this base recipe, most of which can be ready in under 30 minutes. These bases, stocks, doughs and clever preps are all:

• Made completely from scratch
• Freezer-friendly with clear freeze and thaw guidance
• Designed to be reused in multiple, very different meals

The result? Homemade meals in minutes, all week long, without the stress.

From a Leftover Veg / Mince Base that can be transformed into One-Pan Lasagne or Smash Burgers & Shoestring Fries, to a Sunflower Seedy Herby Pesto Base that can become Pesto Feta Eggs or Lemon Roast Chicken & Potatoes with Fresh Herb Pesto, Jade Greenhalgh shows you that batch cooking doesn't have to mean eating the same meal over and over again.
