Ian Danter: Only Danter, Kartoniert / Broschiert

Klappentext

talkSPORT stalwart Ian Danter holds nothing back in this gripping account of how a Brummie wannabe rock star became one of the UK's best-known sports broadcasters. After a dramatic late 20s career shift from guitar sales to local - and then national - radio, Ian reveals how he developed his natural talents behind a mic alongside legends such as Alan Brazil, Adrian Durham, Hawksbee and Jacobs, Jeremy Kyle and many more. From his days circling Birmingham in a twin-engined plane for live travel reports, to emergency call-outs to cover AWOL presenters, to being violently sick live on air, to commentating at multiple World Cups, Euros, Premier League and EFL games, 'Dants' shares a wealth of unforgettable stories. He also charts his ventures into darts and cricket commentary, plus indulging his rock-music passion at Planet Rock. Alongside the highs, he's candid about the setbacks - and the resilience needed to survive a quarter-century in broadcasting.
